I am originally from the States and am currently married to a Brit and living here in the UK (we are both bi) ... I belonged to a nudist group (Sacramento River Dippers) before I left.

I have noticed over here that nudist or naturist doesn't hold the same standards compared to the U.S. ... we both do massage and because I placed naturist massage as one of the options it is associated with sex.

I also noticed that nudists beaches here are usually a pick up spot for sex etc. Before I go on could you please tell me what is the standard definition for naturist here in the UK. Is it about finding fresh meat or is it about being free of the constricts of clothing?

In the US most clubs especially those of any legitimacy are about the latter and anyone showing any signs of excitement or unnecessary starring are usually asked to stop (or leave to get control and then come back) and if they have to be told again they are just asked to leave and stay away. The ages at the last get together I was in was from 17 to 76 yo and it was nice, relaxing, etc.

I would love to join a group here in this area (or help create one) or join a national club here in the UK but most of those I have spoken with about it think that sitting around naked means that sex within the group will soon get started (although there have been just a couple exceptions to this). Tell me I am just talking to the wrong people (for the most part). Tell me that naturism and nudists isn't another term for swingers and swinging here in the UK.
